About Lantern Space Team

We started Lantern Space because we feel the need to give Australia market the access to a more diverse range of innovative architectural furfaces. We saw a gap between the beauty of natural stone and the practical demands of contemporary architecture. Our goal is to give  market access to lighter, more adaptable and more expressive surface materials, without compromising the overall quality of the space.

We are the first owner-distributor of soft stone to enter the Australian market, offering the most comprehensive range backed by a full set of Australian standard and testing certificates.

Based in QLD and China, our culture diversed team works closely with designers, builders and developers and to provide hands-on support throughout the specification and installation process.

About Our Manufacturer

Founded in 2008, our manufacturer is more than the inventor of MCM (Modified Clay Material), but also a forerunner in eco&green building material science, focused on developing carbon-neutral alternatives to traditional building materials. With a strong R&D culture and industrial-scale manufacturing, it delivers technologies designed to address the environmental and performance challenges of modern construction. 

Located in China, our factory operates 3 production bases with 80 production lines in total and a combined annual capacity of 60 million square meters. These manufacturing facilities run fully automated production lines that consume only 0.48 kWh per m2 - over 80% less than comparable products.
